This 2.0 CEU Hour NCBTMB Approved course is being offered in Itasca at the 2022 AMTA Illinois Chapter Annual Meeting/Conference this March 11-13, 2022. Massage therapists and counselors are both recognizing the benefit of working together to assist clients who struggle with many issues that specifically involve the body: trauma, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, dissociation, neglect, self-injury, etc.
This course is designed specifically for massage therapists and bodyworkers. This course will offer a brief overview of the history, theory, practices, clinical applications and ethics of Somatic Psychology.
