Counseling
I have been a counselor for over 20 years. My purpose as a professional is to provide you with an open and supportive place to explore and process your thoughts, feelings and experiences while on your healing journey. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief, faith concerns and life transitions. I work with all persons--18 to 95+! You can explore whatever is important to you: your relationships, vocational choices, personal goals and or blocks to what you desire to change. I will also help you explore issues that may be impacting your growth that you may not have considered--my overall goal is to support you as you explore.
I have both a Master’s degree (MA) and a Doctoral degree (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. This training also included theological studies in the Christian tradition--and have therefore given a great deal of time and thought to the practice of integrated Christian psychology. I am also a Licensed Massage Therapist (See Trauma Informed Bodywork tab above).
My fees are $140 per 55-60 minute session. If you desire additional session time, I am happy to provide the following beyond the first hour ($50 for 30min., $75 for 45min., $100 for 60min.) However, insurance plans do NOT cover additional time, and so additional time will be an out-of-pocket cost.
